Introduction

Computer Languages are defined as “languages for expressing a set of detailed instruction
for a digital computer” (Hemmendinger, 2017). As mentioned by the definition, the languages
deliver instructions for the computer to follow, and over the years; languages have evolved
and changed in the ways society utilises them. This webpage will look at the past and present
forms of computer languages and predict where they will go in the future.
